The Advanced Holographic Decoy Array is one of the newest things to come out of Starfleet R&D. It is basically a large hologram emitter that is coupled to an independent power supply or to the stations generators for projection and initialised from the tactical systems.
It can be used to create decoys and other such things for the station. When used properly, it is a major asset to the station.
